numerous calls -- says nothing -- just wasting airtime

I got 2 or 3 calls a day... while traveling overseas and paying roaming charges....
It is a collection agency. ATT referred me to a collection service for a service I never got to use.

calls my phone 3-5 times throughout the day, does not answer the phone. they hang up the phone after i answer.

They called my cell this morning at 8:32am this morning and it did ring 3 times before they hanged up, then they called my house number a minute latter and it ranged about 20 times, same freakin number. If I owe a debt, I want paperwork first, not phone calls 5-10 times a day. How they got my house number I dont know. If you call me then leave a message. I may call back. I do not have call waiting. If the line is busy must mean I am talking to someone else.
These people need to leave a message of some type and also send me a letter stating what I owe. Only then will I answer their calls.

I have been receiving calls atleast 5 times a day for the last few months from these people.

No one would respond every time we answered thier calls.

I traced down the phone number to find out it is a company named FINANCIAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS, INC..

CALLS THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND EACH TIME I ANSWER THE CALLER WILL HANG UP. IF I HOLD THE PHONE THE CALLER THEN SAY HELLO HELLO

This appears to be a collection Agency. They did leave a message once where an automated machine would say "If this was (So & So) this is an attempt to collect a debt" I of course hung up. Ever since on a daily bases I get a call with no voicemail.. or a 2 second voicemail with nothing.. Very! Annoying!
