Did receive a call from this number. message left was similar to others mentioned from people. I called my bank instead of calling the number on the message. Bank said it was a legitimate call and gave me the same case number as the one on the message. Charge on the card was legit but suspicious. When I made the transaction the person doing it had problems but it eventually went thru. Probably the reason for the alert. Always best to call the bank or credit union with these kind of calls.

Bank said they use a 3rd party for fraud alerts of credit /debit cards.

We were called by this number and concerned so we called our local bank directly. The call was legitimate. The bank was concerned about a charge dealing with travel arrangements that originated outside of the US. We were able to deal with the problem directly with our bank.

Real fraud centers don't call at Midnight. Also, if they were real, they would know whom they are calling. Last few nights we have received calls between Midnight and 1AM, a real bank call would not occur them. Don't believe the comments saying these are legit calls because it is a phishing scam.

I don't believe those saying that the call was legitimate, they called before saying that my Social Security number had been illegally used and it was a crime for me to hang up, I pushed the button to talk to one of their agents, whose accent was so bad I could hardly understand him! I told him what I thought of scammers like him and told him to go to Hell! I think that those posting that this is legitimate are the scammer themselves and wouldn't trust them! Their number is blocked!

They called twice. Asked for the my zip code. I didn't give it to them. Pressed 0 to speak to a representative. Sounds like a spam center with and overseas accent. Did not give out any information. I called my bank and there was no problem with my account. The Fraud Center had said, that my card had been put on hold due to suspicious activity. Do not give out any information. Call your bank directly instead.

Not a scam call. it was legitimate fraud protection on my debit card. I made a chare online in Canada and the transaction was flagged as suspicious. I did not answer the phone call but I did get a text asking me to verify the transaction and the voice mail from the call matched this info. I wasn't aware of this number until now and thought it suspicious.

"Fraud Detection Center" tried to run a fake AT&T charge to my credit union account. Used this number that went directly to my voicemail, wanted me to call and use a "case number" to unlock my debit card.

This was a legitimate call. I didn't call this number back, but called my bank. They said that there were several charges that I needed to verify, which I did. They also said when you get these types of calls, it's best to call your bank, just to make sure.

Legitimate. It was a fraud alert on credit card purchases I made. One looked suspicious so they put a hold on transactions until I replied.

They called me yesterday to report an attempted fraud on my card. I didn't answer and didn't call back. I reached the fraud department of my card after waiting almost an hour. The rep I spoke to confirmed that the call yesterday was genuine.

I called the number and was answered by machine "Welcome to Frontier Communications".

Legitimate - verified by calling my bank after the call. My card was actually reactivated during the call since the charges were legitimate. It sounds like this service provider has been contracted by many financial institutions.

I have received two of these calls today. I want these calls to stop! The phone number is 877-253-8964. According to others, this is a bank fraud phone call.
