I made the mistake of using HomeAdvisor to get contractors for replacement windows. Now I'm flooded with calls trying to hook me up with multiple contractors. Unfortunately, I don't have time to meet with all of them. My mistake! I'll never use an internet service like that again!

Same experience here! Now I would NEVER think to try Angie's List, Home Advisor, or any other, just like you said. Someone calls and I explain we purchased a new swamp cooler and just want it installed replacing the old one. Simple, hu? He says well they can only do work if they provide the unit, so since we still haven't picked it up yet I said OK come do an estimate for a whole job (thought if reasonable I'll cancel order w/Home Depot and have them do it....yeah right...) then he say well is the unit working? OMG - so said no it's not working something broke on it, then he says, unbelievably, they won't come to do an estimate if unit is not working. I had to have him repeat, but I then told him, "you know it sounds to me like you guys aren't the right company to come and do anything with my cooler." Tops the list of 100 most moronic companies/things they say, right? Now my original contact with a reliable company who services locale mobile homes was able to get back to me and he's going to swap them for $150 (barring no problems) - another Angie's List contractor quoted me $900 (ONLY for swap, not including a unit). Don't do it people! Stay far, far away.
This is Sears Home Remodeling division. If you do an Angie's List, My Home Advisor, etc. search and leave your phone number (as it's required for further info) this will trigger the calls.
