i just noticed a missed call from the same number on my cell. since i do not know that area code , i checked it on google and it is Alaskan area code. do not know anybody in Alaska.
Is it a spam?

Call from 907-200-8669 on 1st cell phone Saturday, 7/24/10 @ 9:32AM... hung up after 3 rings (didn't get a chance to pick up).
Call from 907-200-8669 on 2nd cell phone Saturday, 7/24/10 @ 9:42AM... hung up after 1 ring (didn't get a chance to pick up).

Google search shows this as a Spanish telemarketer auto-dialing every U.S. number telling people they have won a prize from and they need to give them a credit card number in order to claim their prize. SCAM!!!

I got three calls today from this number. It was during my sleep hours , so I didnt answer. figured it was a scam or solicitor/bill collector. thanks for the update. one more phone # to ignore:)

annoyed to be called on my personal cell 3. won't answer, but was intrigued by the 907 area. scmmers no doubt, perhaps i've won $25,000.

I have been getting calls by this number for a few days. I have never picked up but I decided to google this number after it called me again and apparently its a scam. Just wanted to drop this comment by saying that this caller is extremely annoying and also calls me like once every other day or so.

I received a call today with this number, and it said I won something. I went ahead and acted like if I accepted it, so I can tell them to get me off their phone list, and the lady hung up the phone. It sounds like a scame!!!

I got this call just today around noon. I am not in the habit of answering unknown numbers, so I ignored it and just waited if a voice mail will be left. No voicemail. Weird thing was, I was with my friend and 3 hours after, she asks me where area code 907 is. I was surprised because it called her too just a few hours apart.

I am worried. I just got a ghost call on my cell phone from (907)200-8669. Caller id said Alaska 3:27pm. How did they get my cell number. I am afraid it's a call from an alien. It kinda sounded like he was trying to speak to me in spanish. It was hard to listen with all of the static on the line. I thought I heard him say I won a prize. Press 1 to accept. It wasn't clear. Too much static. I wish that I would have paid more attention in spanish class. I was connected to cell line for about 45 seconds. Then, I lost the call. My nose started to bleed right after the ghost call. I feel like my mind was scanned and emptied out. I started to feel like I was low on virtual memory. Ooops, I gotta go. My cell phone is ringing again. Ssshh. They are listening...Ssshh

I too have received unsolicted calls from this phone number, the person appears to be a young female voice. She speaks in a Spannish dilect. What gives...?

called didnt answer when i call back it says there is restrictions on my account hold to get it unrestricted i hung up as soon as it said that knowing it has to be a scam or someone stole my info

GOOD! These type calls need to be stopped and not allowed on cell phones. Very disturbing while in meetings, and annoying at any time. I also got call from this number and told them this is America - speak English and perhaps I could understand them.

just called the # back during their sleep hours and the message states that the number is no longer in service. Way to go ACS investigators. Only if all scam lines and emails can be eliminated within a day. Got my call 3xs this morning and they are outta business 2night:) :)

got this call a day or so after signing up for Publisher's Clearing House, looks like they may have sold my number. didn't answer call and no message was left.

Got the call on my cell. Sounded like a very poor recording, woman's voice, speaking Spanish. I hung up and will not answer if they call me again.

The call is a machine in spanish talkin about you won but doesn't tell you what you won just tells you to push 1. Didn't do it though.
