Got the 949 area code number and also 702-506-8502 within 5 minutes. Identical wording, "Owe $10,000..." etc, etc.

I had the same experience as others, a spam text message about IRS debt reduction. It is an unwelcome message, and I never give my business to spammers.

The call came from: Assigned 2006-01-26 Irvine, California (T-mobile USA, INC.) and was the same message everyone else got..Do you owe $10,000+ to the IRS? Our gov't approved prorams can REDUCE BACK TAXES by over 70%. Reply 'YES' to see if you qualify! (optout,,reply:out)

Typical scam email-style text message. The FCC regulates Text Message Marketing and this is definitely NOT legal. Just picking numbers out of a hat! It was something about debt consolidation.
