pretends to be dell... SCAM

It's from Walmart Rewards Mastercard, at least in Canada.

It is Dell's Customer Service line. All the bad experiences are with crooks spoofing the number on your caller ID. I have bought two computers from Dell and they have called me from this number whenever I have issues that require a human call me back. They do have all my information on hand, including computer serial number and such, so I never give out information they don't already have. They also never ask for money.

Call is safe and is not a telemarketer. Lobel Financial in Anaheim, California.

Caller: Lobel Financial

This is not SPAM or Fraud. This is a legitimate company named Lobel Financial located in Anaheim, California.

Caller: Lobel Financial

Good try Scammers by replying on this forum and claiming it is Dell calling.. lol I received 5 calls every after five minutes, not leaving any message. Top of that I have not purchased any Dell product so it is confirm this is scam.

It is a Dell Customer Service number, but it IS NOT Dell calling. Their number is being spoofed by scammers trying to get enough information to steal your identity.

This is definitely and identity theft spam call. They knew my name but I did not have a Dell account but the first thing they asked for was the last 4 digits if my social saying its in reference to my Dell agreement.BLOCK THEM IMMEDIATELY!!

Dell

Inaccurate name. Called multiple times and hung up.

This number called my cell phone and reported it was "Dell Computers" calling. I asked why Dell Computers is calling me. The female caller spoke with a thick middle-eastern accent and said she was calling in regards to a computer purchase I made two days prior. I told her I didn't purchase any computer. She then repeated my name and the last four numbers of my credit card. I didn't confirm either, but told her that I definitely wouldn't buy a Dell computer, so what else does she want. She told me I need to contact the fraud department then and she would cancel the transaction. I cancelled my credit card, just in case, but the whole call sounded fishy. She never said what department she was calling from or anything and left the whole conversation very generic, as if expecting me to finish out the rest of the sentences (Confirm my name, credit card number, etc). She wasn't very persistent, though. Blocked the number from my phone anyway because I'll never need support from Dell, anyway. But the number that appeared on my phone is definitely a Dell customer service phone number.

Caller: Dell Computers

Caller: Dell

Here's the problem! They are calling from another country. They use Dells phone number...They either have an app that allows that, calling from their computer or what you can't see is the country code..I saw it show up on my comcast caller history one day. I get calls all the time from Dell and now emails..It isn't Dell...But it also isn't all Dells fault...

Called talking about a computer I never had, hard to understand. Likely scam

Caller: Fake Dell

Account overdue

Caller: Dell Financial

DELL financial... Paid off PC 5yrs, still getting "Silent Ghost Voicemails, Rajit". When I call number back I get Dell call center-->Mumbai, India!! "Do not call registry" no go on overseas calls.

Hey, folks

Even if it is Dell, these simply can't be legitimate calls from management. They are calling from another country. I just received my third call. Today's scam was I supposedly asked to have my service changed from cloud to a disk. They said, "All we need from you is $64.95 and to get a little information, and we can send that to you." It very possibly could be people working for Dell, but Dell needs to look into this. I recognized the number and found two other calls from them. And I don't think Dell would be calling you for any reason other than sales, and only if you're a business. If it's about returning a product or resolving an issue, they email you.

fraudulent call -not really from DELL

Caller: Supposedly Dell

Rude demands info that I refuse to give anyone I DO NOT know! Now blocked

They called my workplace and I wasn't even working! Dell Financial Services!!
