I have received this call up to three times in one day. Never had service with Cox and don't owe anything to anybody. So annoying! I don't answer the phone as it comes up 'unknown' in the caller id. They leave messages constantly with a reference number and it seems to be a different person each time.
Got 2 calls from an "unknown" number with the same spiel. She didn't say my name mention who she was calling for but this is verbatim from the voice message "This is Ms. White from Equidata, I have a very important business matter to discuss with you. Please give me a call back at 18008882274 ext. 445 hrs are 8-8 mon-fri, please ask for Ms. White. Your reference # is 4881740. Please be advised this is not a telemarketing call. This is a call from a debt collector Equidata"

just like other they claim to be a debt collector, they are total bull shit and i am taking this to the next level and sue their ass. they have no right to call folks and if you make a payment to them you just lost your money. next time they call get in touch with who they say they are helping then call them. they will tell you what you need to know and how to make the payment. as far as these ass holes are concerned they will be out of business very very soon
They will not stop calling. And they always call throughout the day and at the worst times.
