sales called

Caller: ocwen mortgage

I received a call from Cody and left a very brief message regarding the HGTV giveaway. Strange, I am not in any HGTV entry.

I hope you all sued them like I did. They are a total worthless mortgage company.

Caller: Ocwen

I received this call from a woman's voice calling me by my first name saying the company so fast you could not understand wanting me to call back.
The toll free number appears to be quicken loans. I received email from Quicken loans a couple of days ago thanking me for loan application.
This is obviously a scam. I am on every no call list but they pay no attention.

I hope this is NOT Quicken Loans. They say "We're calling in REFERENCE to your Quicken Loan application". A SCAM to be sure. Today I got another version: "I'm calling from Quicken Loans in regard to your HGTV contest entry". I cannot imagine how desperate Quicken Loans must be if this is them.

They call constantly even though we are current on our mortgage. Foreign voice nearly impossible to understand.

Ocwen Loan Mortgage,

I actually do have a Quicken Loan Agent but they do not call from +1 (717) 603-4152

This was a call back number left on my cell's voice mail. He stated he was "Ryan Bowe" from Quicken Loans and that an online refi request was made for a mortgage. I don't own a home and the person he asked for does not live here. Within 20 minutes, I received four calls back-to back on my cell phone from (314)-449-9909, one from (317) 288-3894 and (314) 328-6190. They all referenced Quicken Loans. The last number is what was used for the vm. Upon further research these numbers are being used for a scam.

Caller: Quicken Loans(?)

Not a scam. This is actually a 3rd company that works with Quicken Loans

Caller: Ql

caller said he had great info for me regarding refinancing my mortgage.
Said he was with Quicken Loans

Craig said he was from Quicken Loans. Left the numbers 866-349-8543 and a 313 number

Caller: Quicken Loans

Tim, from "Quicken Loans," left a message about a "refinance you're looking into." Numbers were 866-349-8543 and 313-338-1479. We have not looked into any kin of mortgage loan..or any loan. Also got similar call from "Loan Depot" from 407-809-4870.

Bogus, these people are not from Quicken Loans

Our mortgage was sold to Ocwen. They begin calling about a week BEFORE the payment is due. All hours of the day. NEVER leave a message.

Received a call congratulating me on the Quicken Loan I had applied for online as being approved and wanting to discuss the details with me. Left call back numbers of 313-373-2810 and toll free 866-349-8543. Couldn't tell you the name of the person who left the message as it was too much mouth garbled (intentionally is my guess). It was enough to startle me at first because of all the identity theft about these days, but thank goodness for services like these which reinforce ones gut instinct that it is a scam!

Caller: Quicken Loans

They call me many times a day and never leave a message. I have never done any business with them.

Scammer claiming to be an IRS agent threatened arrest of my elderly mother. Same 804 phone # reported above. The elderly are being targeted more than ever.

By the way, these scammers are generally outside of the US and using PCs to make their calls using a service like SpoofCard (google it). They buy phone #s like the 804 # and it rings their PC wherever they are, similar to Skype.

The good news is that we (law enforcement) are close to being able to nab these guys. Interpol has a fantastic team of cybercrime network engineers and have just recently obtained the international cooperation needed to track calls directly to an IP address and grabbing the MAC as well (spoofing their address is no longer going to work for them). These scammers will get caught.

They have called me twice. And many of my co-workers. The second time they threatened my arrest. An Indian gentleman (and I use that term loosely) Claimed to be a detective James Anderson. He left the # 804-316-9741. He threatened my arrest.
