IT's NOT Microsoft! Same, Heavy Indian accent. Tells me he's from Microsoft and that illegal activity is coming from my IP. I say, which one? Which IP? Already knowing it is a scam and he is trying to get access to my computer. Next I tell him that's really strange because I don't have a windows computer, I have all MACs. hangs up. I laugh. Microsoft moved to Ohio? How dumb do they think we are? I can't even get the real Microsoft to return my calls. Also, Microsoft doesn't investigate criminal activity. Law Enforcement does. If they ask, is this "my name" I respond with, who's this? Don't ever give out info to any caller unless you absolutely know who they are. Not even your name. It's a scam. Woman claims my ip address was hacked into by Internet encryption tried to have my perform tasks on my laptop beware... always be the one to call a well known number 1st. Be careful when someone calls limit how much info your giving them

This number has been calling my landliine several times a day, and almost every day for about a month it seems, maybe longer. I have not answered, and won't after reading comments here and on other sites. One person on another site commented that this person caught her in a weak moment and told her they needed access to her computer to fix some kind of virus. She gave in to them, and they then told her that she would need a password to get back into her computer. She asked for the password, and they told her that would be $199.00 for the password. She took her computer to a tech, but ended up having to replace it. I worry about older people getting calls like this!!!

Annoying rude person with an attitude wanting computer information so he could check for virus. He has a heavy accent and is very pushy. I'm reporting his number to FTC as a possible hacker, I would do the same if I was you.

Harassing caller from 234 321 3432 thick accent name of Robert. Constantly calling regarding my computer which according to them has a virus. He wants access to my computer to show where the virus is. NO!!! It is a SCAM and I told him so. He tried to reassure that it is not a Scam. I hung up. And surely they will call again.

They call 1-2 times a week. Blocked that number on my phone. Indian sounding guy stating my Windows was downloading viruses and he needed to gain access by logging into my computer to see how it's running. I told him it was a US Govenrment computer, I'm an agent and he is welcome to do so. CLICK!!!!!
