This is a real collection agency. They called me regarding cox cable

customer had cox and there is payment on the account for 28.77 and there is payment that is going to come out of the account and says that if there is not a payment to you then call all you want on the 20th but give a few days to post to the account

This is a legit company actually. I asked the questions on why they were calling and they provided specifics. They were hired by Mediacom to collect a balance. I recommend calling the actual company (i.e. Mediacom) directly to resolve the issue and confirm anything.

Made me a nice deal made apt nov 5th 3-5 come look at my apt. Called Mediacom today THERE IS NO RECORD of this. Sounded like a good deal Gold package sounded like with mediacom.

they call, let the phone ring 2-3 times and then hang up. I have caller id so do not respond to these calls. it would be nice if they would STOP these calls.

he calls himself Arturo of MediaCom. It offers promotions and has the name of the account holder of MediaCom but does not have the address. He will ask you the address to send a technician so that you have a better internet, tv or phone connection. if you accept that promotion. I think they have staff to distinguish Latinos and White American by last names

They had my name, said something about an offer and when I told them that I had cancel the service she sounded suprised then hang bup.

Called asking my wife if our internet was buffering... she said I (her husband) would be the one to ask about that but as far as she knew it was ok... they hung up on her.

Mediacom calling to do a survey about my recent customer service experience. I called them to disconnect service, they didn't want to take no for an answer and kept offering me other services. The service rep then shot me an attitude and I told her I did not appreciate her snippy-snappy tone with me. She denied having any attitude, but it was very clear she did.

I receive calls from this numerous times, every morning throughout the day. I in fact returned the call, and they kept wanting to verify my name, and said it was a business matter. They keep calling my place of work, I gave them no information...

Ok. it's technically not spam because it is a legit company trying to sell cable services. It is bothersome though because if I want something - I'll go after it, research it, and then make a purchase when I'm ready and fully understand what I'm getting. Phone sales just do not work for me.

It was a real person because they got through my auto screening. Said the were a collection agency urgent. Since we have no debt it was obviously a scam

Has called me multiple times and never leaves a message. I answered it the last time and it was a pre-recorded message with my name saying they were trying to collect a debt and provided an account number.

They were calling about a Mediacom bill. With the exception of having the incorrect amount owed (not their fault) they were professional. Agent disputed the balance for me and I agreed to return the equipment.
