USAA

Called me with my personal info and told me about fraud charges on my USAA acct. There ARE fraud charges on my USAA acct but not all of the ones they claimed.

This is the correct USAA number. They are spoofing it, but also have access to a LOT of personal information.

If u get a USAA fraud alert, HANG UP. Log into USAA, then call USAA directly to verify.

Gentleman (says his name was Oliver Thomas) sounded very professional and earnest. Told me that there were several attempts at high-dollar transactions in Miami, FL (I haven't been there in years). He knew my name and SSN, and told me the last 4 digits of my card number. He sent me a text with a link to "further verify additional charges." Do NOT take the bait. I told him I needed to call USAA directly to confirm. He hung up. I called the REAL USAA and reported the incident. I had my current card blocked and a new card is on the way. That was close!

Scammer, wanted phone number, last 4 of credit card, full name and date of birth. DEFINITELY not USAA

Called asking for father told her he was unavailable, I said I was his daughter could I help? She asked if I had POA,, of which I said yes. Claims issue with USAA but first she had "to authenticate" me. Total SPAM, of course I did not provide info

Calling from different numbers.

Text message came to me claiming something to do with to Oprah. I’ve never entered any such giveaway and don’t know how this message could possibly be legitimate. There was a link inside the text message that I did NOT click on. This is the first message of two messages that I have received in the last 3 days with the same message. The two numbers that I received this same text message come up on the caller ID as: 1410100002 and 1410200502 and since I filter my texts I am hoping that this doesn’t happen again. I’m always leery when I receive a text message from a number that isn’t a normal phone number since who knows where it’s origin is. I believe that the link inside the texts messages were scams phishing for information. I hope that no one else has this kind of problem.

The caller claimed to want to discuss umbrella insurance options so I called them back and they transferred me to "USAA" who said the same. I think it really was USAA but they asked me to verify who I was by telling them my PIN which I declined. They suggested I call them back on their normal number and get transferred to their insurance division but again I declined. Not interested in umbrella coverage.

Keeps telling me my Amazon account has been suspended or that I have a package that can’t be delivered. When I use the STOP command, I get a long list of reasons that it can’t be blocked. I ALMOST changed my password on their link, and I’m not easily d

Tried to get my login information. Will look and sound like USAA. NOT USAA DO NOT GIVE THEM INFORMATION.

Called today and said they were USAA. Tried to say I had payments in IL and tried to get my login information. DO NOT give you password or log in

Scammer! Be Aware! They tried to wire money our of our account. They are posing as USAA. The called me 4 times and texted me to tell me my account was hacked, but they hacked my account. So frustrating!

Scam email. Not USAA. I called USAA on its "usual" trunk line and was told they had no record of sending me an email and the email address was not theirs.

Did not talk to anyone - went to voicemail.
