Call with no voice message left and unable to reach anyone when calling back

Called didn't leave a message, they call about 3 times a day. I just got a new phone number and the other person who owned the phone number previously obviously got rid of it for a reason. This is driving me nuts. Is there nothing that can be done?

Aggervating company calling about financial matters for me its hospital bills & when I get a job I'll pay

I keep getting calls for someone other than myself saying it's an important financial matter. The voice mail says to press the *5 key if this is not that person, which I do repeatedly. However, they keep calling back daily. When i tried to call them back to tell them to take me off the list, they put me on hold indefinitely.
