Power Savers association has called both my phne #s every week for the past month. i clicked on "2" to remove my # but they still call. I actually spoke to someone this time and they are rude and cannot go off script.
they are sponsored by Alternative energy companies and can have contractors come out to your home the next day, even on a Saturday. When i asked for a manager, i was put on hold and then they hung up the call.
Terrible call ctr handling and scam written all over it.
If there are any lawyers out there who want to file a class action suit, these guys are a prime target.
The call and call and call with their automated message telling you they are a public service, which is a lie. The are a telemarketing scam. That is obvious.
They tell you the don't call register doesn't apply to them, but it does, because they are providing no public service at all.
I have a solar electric system already, so this is only harassment to me.
Power Savers Assoc. called and called, month after month and said we could get $3700 from the Government. We kept saying no and finally we just wanted to see what kind of organization could be functioning with no website and no phone number. A man named Bill came out and said he was with Solar Development Inc. He said it was a company that has been around for 30 years. He did not know anything about Power Savers, even though he came at the the time they made the appt. for. He said the company has 48,773 satisfied costomers. He said he could get us references but not have any on him. When we were finally able to get him to go, from our outdoor patio, because we did not let him in the house, he said that he had failed us, that the company is going to yell at him. He also said that it is a strike against him. It was quite an experience!
These people keep calling, with an attempt to set up an appointment. They represent themselves as a call center and have no affiliation with the company that actually comes out... and they don't have a direct phone # for them.
They call at least 2-3x permonth even though I'm on the don not call list...
After their long speech, the "lady" said "I see you are at (address which is beside my house). and will not be in your area till next month. Can we call you back at that time?"
FUNNY.
How did they know my fake address if they haven't called before (answer: because the name of the company has changed). If they knew my address and that a technician will not be in the area till next month - what purpose do they serve by saying "can we call again?" (well, actually, you didn't have permission to phone me now, nor the 5 times before - when I've asked to be removed from your spam calling list....).
SUGGESTION: GIVE A FAKE ADDRESS. ANSWER YES TO "OWN YOUR OWN HOME". BE NICE. ALLOW THEM TO SEND A TECHNICIAN TO YOUR NEIGHBOURS HOME. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CONTACTED THE NRA TO BE THERE WITH A FEW GUNS IN HAND. IN FLORIDA, PROTECTING YOUR PROPERTY IS A RIGHT AND YOU ARE ACTUALLY ALLOWED TO SHOOT THEIR HEADS OFF (OK. I SUGGEST AIMING AT A PART OF THEIR BODY THEY ACTUALLY USE).
