The call is legitimate but why did they never leave a message or hang up when I said "hello". That led me to this site which made me even more suspicious. By the eighth time they called and actually responded when I said "hello" I was so cross and refused to give them any personal information thinking they were scam artists. It turns out I was late by 4 days to 1 week of my first charge card payment. I didn't think people got calls like this unless they were horribly overdue. I had already sent my payment in the mail just a couple days ago and apparently they didn't get it yet. Wish I never opened this account in the first place. If they could quickly tell you how to get on line one wouldn't have to deal with waiting for your first bill among all the junk mail and these weird bothersome phone calls.

Cut the card in 8 pieces and mail them about half with a note listing your account number and order them to cancel it. Meanwhile report them to the attorney general of your state or similar person. Also Better BUSINESS bureau

They call several times a day and appears to be Macy's collections. Let's all call them toll free at 1-866-593-2543 or their collections dept at 1-888-822-9242. Call several times a day, at their expense, serves them right. I'm also filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) as this is pure harassment, no doubt about it.

I have been late on one payment and I told Macys that I would pay as soon as I could pay. This was the 4th of Oct. Bill due the 5th. Now they have started calling me every few hours sice the 7th.

no messages. called 15 times in 1 day. my payment was due on 8/19/11. forgot to make payment.
I have had problems in the past, and have spoken to people from india. I am still waiting for a 35.00 credit from 2009, in which I was charged a late fee, even though my payment was on time. Originally mccs would show up on caller id

Call 8-9 times a day everyday and harrass you when you try to set up a payment plan. Then won't cancel your account when asked to.

Call about 8-9 times a day everyday and don't stop when asked politely to, and when asked to cancle you're account they don't and just keep putting more money on the card.

I have tried my best to pay the Macy's bill at least once a month, but I received phone call today, 7/27/11 from 1-513-573-8031 that I did not pay from April 2011 and was reported to the Credit
Bureaus to down grade my credit. I have sent fax today from the J.P. Chase BANK of the
on line payment statements. Let me show you how many times the Macy's collector called;
7/27/11: 8:36am, 2:25pm, 7/26/11: 8:25am, 8:32am, 4:34pm, 7/25/11: 8:44am, 7:05pm, 8:25pm,
7/23/11: 8:04am, 8:19am, 7:42pm, 7/17/11: 9:24am, 5:43pm, 7/16/11: 8:06am, 7:04pm, 8:11pm,
7/15/11: 7:07pm. I told the caller " not to call and harrass me" don't call more than once a month
if I am late for the payment for reminding ...... harrassment in those case is illegal ! Please review
my fax communication of today and am asking you to straighten out my credit records, otherwise

i get a call from this facilitty 4 times a day , and the person hangs up. i dont own a macys card,let alone, an account with them
