SCAM, trying to get sensitive info, wanted me to confirm an order that wasn’t placed. Don’t have an account with Macy’s.

Caller: Scam

Caller: Spam

I called and message says "you have reached macy's fraud department and the number you are trying to call is a non working number".

Its Spam

This number has called my Google Voice number 13 times since the middle of March 2020. Typically they'll call once every day at various random times from early afternoon to early evening. They'll call like this for 3 or 4 days, then skip a few days or a week, then start again. On all occasions but one the calls were blocked by Google, marking them as "spam". The one time they got through I didn't recognize the number so I let it through to voicemail, but the caller left no message. After reviewing the call history, I also blocked the number directly on the phone.

It's good to know the spam recognition and blocking software is all working--I was never interrupted. However without additional information I can't identify who this persistent caller is. I assume from the behavior that this is a debt collector, but I can't honestly confirm it.

Harassment/nuisance calls about a credit card I've never heard of.

I keep getting a call from this number too. After reading the comments, I realized I did not make my Macy's Credit Card payment. I'm not even 30 days past due. How dare I miss the payment date. I'm just so awful that a bank like this charges almost 30% interest. God Bless the USA!

Keeps calling..no message..hangs up after a few rings

Caller: Macy's

Didn't answer

started calling today on a phone where I usually don't get scam calls so far called 4 times

they have the wrong phone number , i told them this as well and they keep calling me,

Macy's Credit. We don't even have a card. Caller ID is Macy's Bloomie

I received a call from this number. It said Macy's credit and customer services center in Mason, OH. I did not answer as I was suspicious and I have never shopped at Macy's. I checked all of my credit statements and did not find any fraudulent charges. I don't know if it was a legitimate call or not. My phone gave me the following address in the call details: 9111 Duke Blvd, Mason, OH 45050, USA. My phone also gave me the following website which I have checked using VirusTotal URL scanning service: https://www.macysinc.com/contact-us/reach-us/default.aspx.

I just got a call from this number stating the same thing. My payment is past due. She offered to allow me to make a payment over the phone free of charge and I refused. She also asked when my last payment was made. I refused to give her any information and hung up. I get calls daily from them.

I'm being harassed by this number as well. I block them, they still come through. Then they call from another number on top of this off by one digit.

I received a call today and they said that they were calling to confirm that I made a purchase from Bloomingdale's. I told her that I did not and she asked me if I had a credit card ending in xXxX. I told her that I'm not verifying any personal card info with her but note that I didn't make a purchase from Bloomingdales. We checked our credit card where there was a $300+ pending charge which we immediately reported as fraud. I can't say whether or not this number is a scam but they did alert us to a fraudulent charge.

Caller: Bloomingdales

This number called me 4 times today. I don't answer 800 numbers. Puzzled you say it's Macys debt collector. I have a Macys card but NEVER late to pay.

Caller: Don't know

Submit a complaint to the BBB. They will cease calls within a few days. It is in fact their collections department making these calls.

Caller ID said Macys Bloomies, they call every 2 hours they leave no messages. Blocked this number then they used another number with the same caller ID.
