They have switched their scam = A woman with a thick Indian accent called claiming to be from Microsoft Technical Support. I almost fell for this scam once already, they ask for access to your computer to show you how bad it is, and get you to buy a new Tech Support service. I eventually hung up the first time (right away this 2nd time), and contacted the manufacturer of the computer. They told me that under no circumstances are Windows, HP, Dell, none of them, allowed to contact people unless you have already signed up for a service with them. Don't let these guys fool you, just hang up.
yes they did call and asked to speak to my wife, the camel jockeys got a ear full 1 800 706 494 9079
They just called me and the same case Id S4C5593! I guess we all haave the same number. Crazy people
I just received the CALL. Its almost funny. I laughed at the lady. She went through the mail at the doorstep and then after I was pissed I told her I knew this was a scam. I cusses and she said hold on and a INDIAN guy got on the phone. I cussed him out also. I said if you can give me my address Ill talk to you..he said he don't have to explain anything to me but I will be arrested if I don't listen to what he wants me to do. SOOO. I kindly told him to F_OFF with his little brown self. The method they use is SPOOF CALLING..for 25 bucks anyone can enter fraudulent numbers to show up in your caller ID at x amount per call then pay up again. Im a private investigator and use it for business purposes only ..not to scam people so I know how easy it is to do the number thing. Silly little brown people.
I got this call today and like the others said they had a very strong accent. They wanted $1200.00 right away or I would be put in jail for a few months. I found out The IRS works with people to resolve any issues and does not demand it all at once and are not argumentative about it.
