This number kept calling me. I would call back and it would just ring infinitely or the phone was dead on the other line.
I always paid my bills on time. Turns out, the last bill I paid did was not fully submitted (no idea why) and my account was overdue. It look me months to figure out the calls were because my bill was overdue. During this time, my credit score dropped about 600 points and it cost me thousands when I closed on my house the same month.
Just sharing this story so hopefully anyone else googling this phone number can contact Macy's in case their bill is overdue. All the best.
The payment either submits or it doesn't. There's no partially submitted payment. This is a scam, and you're probably part of it. Posting on here trying to frighten people into calling this number back and giving up their information.
Do not have a macy's account anymore, they call wanting ssn and other info but cannot explain why.
Bill not due yet and they called 5 times on thanksgiving.
