He left a message this morning claiming he was with Attorney Austin Jones office in Youngstown, OH regarding a U.S. Federal Trade Commission complaint and non-bailable arrest warrant. When you call the number back it asks for a case number which he didn't leave. What a bad scammer...don't respond.

Have been called for the past few days. Indian accent, goes by the name Austin jones,fed Id badge # IP62495. Said he would have me arrested if I didn't pay some debt, but won't tell me who the debt is from. Also, debt is civil, not criminal, can't be arrested for it.

this is an old scam with a new number. this is not how the justice system gets in touch with you. don't be fooled.

I got an email and call from this jerk! Same names listed above. I told him I was going to take this to the police dept and file a complaint. This really set him off, I don't think Ive ever been cursed with such a heavy accent. lol I found it amusing...SCAM, and he's not even good at it!

I didn't get a phone call, but did get an e-mail with this number listed. E-mail has a warrant for my arrest attached to it. Since when do they send you warrants by e-mail? Also, the email started with Chris Matthews introducing himself as the arresting officer, but letter was signed by arresting office Steve Belford. Lots of misspelled words and bad grammar in the letter. Definitely a scam.

Total scam. No government agency will EVER call and request that you give them money! They claimed they were going to issue a warrant in 2-3 hours if we didn't respond. That doesn't happen either. Subject had a heavy Middle Eastern accent.

heavily accented male stating he's wit the department of criminal investigations alleging that I owe money and will be arrested if I don't pay. LOL
