Asked if I wanted to lower the interest rate on my credit card. Pressed one and said I don't have any credit cards. They hung up and when I called back it said Verizon number has been changed or disconnected

The call comes from South Tahoe, CA. Pressed 1 to speak to a person. Male with accent offered me lower interest rate on all credit cards. I asked him to please remove my number from his list and he hung up on me. I blocked his number. This is a Scam. Please use caution with all unknown calls.

Rec'd a call and they said it was Consumer Services. I just hung up because the recorded line sounded like a scam.
