yes they call me to last night. left a voice message to call back. so I did and heard click and they hung up 2 times. what a scam..

Literally just got this call... scary thing is they new an old address of mine!!! When I said to the guy, this sounds sketchy he immediately hung up!!!

Ok this was the THIRD time they tired this scam on me. So I called back and told the guy that he should be ashamed of himself for trying to pull a CRA scam. And he hung up on me! So I called back and when he answered I said "wow I didn't know the CRA hung up on people!" He then started to yell "you piece of shit woman blah blah blah...." Basically I told him off. Total SCAM! So don 't even bother worrying or answering when you see this number.

Caller ID said "Unknown number". Left a garbled voicemail mid-Saturday afternoon. First part of voicemail cutoff, but last part said to call the 613 number as a lawsuit has been filed against me. That's not how it works in Canada. If a lawsuit has been filed, the courts require a *paper* copy of the lawsuit to be delivered and the defendant has ample time to file a written defence. I've received no such written notice. And they're using an anonymous phone notification? On the weekend? SCAM! Do not return this call. And if you happen to answer it, tell these scumbags to get lost.

Hi there, I received this same voicemail, called the number back and it went nowhere. I called the RCMP to report this to them but no answer. I will be calling them back to detail this scam so they can maybe inform the public at large.

Robo Call Claiming to be CRA Saturday morning telling me to call back on number 1-613 number not Revenue Canada's 800 number because the were filing lawsuits against me. Since I live in Texas and pay US taxes this is unlikely. CRA pointed out they have a scam from a data leak as reported by CBC.

613-927-9687 - Call Friday evening supposedly from CRA. Paul Morris. Tax discrepancies 2008 - 2013 - I owed $3,896.70. Smart bastards gave cents to make it look legitimate. I pointed out myt taxes were done by a professional and there was no way - said to mail me details. Still,I worried until I spoke with my son who pointed out CRA would never do business that way. And a few minutes ago my head cleared and I did whar I should have done in the first place - checked Google and VOILA!!! I'm not the only one taken in - these bastards have it down pat..

I called this number back from a different phone on a Friday afternoon. He said call back tomorrow. Interesting that the CRA works on Saturdays. NOT!!!
He got very defensive when I mentioned this was a SCAM and asked why I was calling him. I said you call me a couple minutes ago. Very obviously a SCAM

Same deal here. When I called, they hung up. Presumably looking for elderly folks or new immigrants. Lots of clicks on the call, indicating rerouting to another country.

SCAM- I got call from from 613-927-9688 today morning. It was from the Canada Revenue Agency the "CRA" recording saying they have filed a lawsuit against me - final notice.

Call from a person claiming they were from the Canada Revenue Agency. This is a SCAM! They have also been calling from 613-927-9688, which has a long list of reports on the associated page here. Do NOT provide any personal information!
