Repeated calls, no message left.

The call I received was scary. He claimed he was from Dell and he was coming to my home! I asked why many times and there was a language barrier. He also asked several times if I was alone? I answered NO! He told me he was very tired and would be at my home in 25 minutes. I made a police report.

Told me I had infected files on my computer. I asked who he was again,and he said "God..." and hung up.

Wants me to give remote access to home computers... good luck.

I called back and it seemed like the real Dell number. Confusing!

Dell is enabling FINANCIAL TERRORISM of their customers. Although Dell is aware of criminal Indian scammers using their customer database, to this date, they still haven't done anything to stop this scam that has been going on for many years and new customers are still getting scammed. Their tech customer support dept. is still outsourced to India and they have done nothing to secure their customers' information.

From now on, I will research whether a company outsources their customer service Dept overseas -India in particular - before purchasing any product from them.
Not only are those companies outsourcing jobs which take jobs away from Americans for their own profit and greed, they put their customer's financial security at risk with their lack of securing their customer's information.

A Dell computer is definitely NOT a must-have. There are many other alternatives where my purchasing the product would not expose my personal information for it to get into the dirty hands of unscrupulous scammers to harass me with rampant phone calls attempting financial extortion.

Asks if i have made any changes to my security on my computer. When i told them I'm a computer tech they hung up.

Call several times in late afternoon, no message left and when called back, the recording sounds like a computerized voice saying this is Dell.

Called states he is with Dell computers. My system has a malicious virus and he will walk me through the process to remove it. I asked them to remove my number from the call list and the caller abruptly hung up on me.

Caller ID shows Dell but it is not REALLY Dell. It is part of an elaborate scam. The caller purports to be from Dell Technical Service and is bogus. Do NOT engage with them.

They have been calling me non-stop for the last few days. It starts at about 9 in the morning and goes on throughout the day. Now, today, they started calling on my cell phone also. I've now blocked them on both devices. I have contacted Dell, so hopefully, if they get enough complaints, they will do something. This really sucks!!!!!!

contacted me today from 1-800-624-9896 which is the contact number I have for Dell Premier Technical Support. I didn't like the way he avoided my questions by repeating that he just needs to remove some infected Microsoft programs from my phone. He never verified who I am like the Real DELL people do when I call them. Finally when I pinned him down saying I wouldn't talk to him until I checked with DELL he gave me 1-866-468-5255 and ask for Alex Clark. I haven't called either of the numbers but will notify DELL Concierge with this information. I have a contract with them.
